What to expect on your first visit
and why choose White Oak Dental?

Here is what we offer: This isn’t just a check up. Your first visit will begin with a tour of our office and a chance to meet our team followed by an initial interview. Our patient coordinator will review your dental and medical history and your dental needs and goals wil be discussed. Your comprehensive exam will include:

  • Head and Neck Exam
  • Digital X-Rays as Needed for Diagnosis
  • Velscope Cancer Screening
  • Dental Charting
  • Intra-Oral Video Tour of Your Mouth
  • Intra and Extraoral Digital Photographs
  • Soft Tissue Examination
  • Periodontal Assessment
  • TMJ Evaluation
  • Occlusal (bite) Evaluation

Additional records such as study model impressions and intraoral photos may be taken. We reserve 90 minutes for your comprehensive exam. If your treatment is complex or has options to be discussed, further assessment may be required to help Dr Menon establish your most appropriate treatment options. Understand that we may need to schedule a second visit with Dr. Menon after she has reviewed all your records and explored all the appropriate options. This consult is considered part of your New Patient Examination visit. Your input is crucial for developing a plan that will work for you. Long term success requires your desire to be healthy and to follow through to meet the goals that we set together.
